IWD2023 – Female Empowerment & My Experience at Brainnwave

Women are known to be the symbol of spirituality, strength, love, sacrifice and courage. The role of women in today’s world is changing significantly.
Female empowerment is one of the key terms for the overall development of society. Women must possess self worth, confidence, and freedom to choose their needs and requirements. Women are already taking present world by storm through their proud roar, exhibiting the utmost skills and drive to achieve their goals.
#EmbraceEquity – Accept and embrace individuality. We need to move beyond equality, where people are given the same resources or opportunities, to equity, which recognises the unique circumstances of each person and allocates resources and opportunities to reach equal outcomes.
As we have seen, this is evident here at Brainwave time and time again, we’re bound to shine. Women at Brainwave will thrive.
I have been working with Brainnwave as a QA tester for almost a year and really feel valued, appreciated and enjoy equality in all areas. I’ve never felt like I’m not being heard or recognised as a woman. I feel safe here to be who I want to be, do what I want to do and say what I want to say.
Note: Since we have many wonderful women here at Brainnwave we figured instead of taking advantage of just one day a year we’d have a string of posts connected to International Women’s Day 2023.
